(Deepshikha Gautam, Intern Journalist) Varanasi: Beer spilling on the street outside the beer shop and the country liquor shop was expensive. Late in the evening of Dussehra, SSP Amit Pathak, who was passing through the Nadesar area, caught sight of the youths outside the beer shop and stopped the car and reached nearby.
The young man could not recognize the captain in civil dress. During this time, four youths were caught by the police. Seeing the liquor on the Suresham road in Nadesar, the captain expressed his displeasure and with immediate effect shifted the line to the outpost in-charge Ashok Kumar. The captain said that if such activities were found outside the liquor shop, action would be taken against the outpost first.
If the reform is not done then the action is against the police station and the officers. Told that Excise Department has also been investigated for such negligence outside the liquor shop. The District Excise Officer has been asked to send photographs related to the general shops. Simultaneously, interrogation of the arrested youths is being registered and action is being taken.
