(Milcah Anila, Intern Journalist) Argentina: A shocking incident took place in Argentina. The video of a live reporter stealing a cellphone is currently going viral on social media. A video was recorded on the same live camera of a man suddenly locking the phone of a reporter who was about to deliver live news from the city of Diego Demarco Sarandi.
This came to light after the video was shared on social media. Demarco, who works as a reporter for a local news channel there, was told on Tuesday to give an anchor reporting from the news station. As he was about to talk to a rolling camera ready to deliver live news, a thief suddenly came and locked his cell phone.
Immediately the reporter left the camera and ran after the thief. ‘He stole my phone .. give me the phone’, the reporter shouted in Spanish and ran after him. Fortunately, with the help of the locals, the reporter got his phone back. As the thief was a local, people there told the reporter that the thief had been found. The reporter was happy to get his phone back for a while.
‘Luckily I got my phone’ and he said he was grateful for it. However, he told that just he wants his phone and he doesn’t want to punish the thief.
