(Manisha Mahar, Intern Journalist); Bangalore Police has raided the home of actor Vivek Oberoi for a sandalwood drug case. At two in the afternoon, two inspectors of the Bangalore Police arrived at Vivek’s Mumbai home and started a raid. A warrant has been issued against Vivek Oberoi’s brother-in-law Aditya Alva and he is absconding.
Vivek Oberoi’s house is in Juhu, Mumbai and the police were informed that his absconding brother-in-law, Aditya Alva, was hiding in Vivek’s house, after which a raid was conducted at Vivek’s house to find Aditya. The Bangalore Police also searched the house of Aditya Alva. Aditya Alva is the brother of Vivek’s wife and son of former minister Jeevaraj Alva. Aditya has been accused of supplying drugs in the Kannada film industry. In this case, famous Kannada actress Ragini Dwivedi has been arrested. Ragini Dwivedi was arrested on 4 September. After which he had his first dope test, where he also tried to tamper with the sample. Sanjana Galrani has also been arrested from the Kannada film industry. The names of many celebrities have surfaced in the Sandalwood drug case.
