CBI officials once again questioned Munna, the owner of a sandal shop in Pulivendula. Along with Munna, six other Pulivendulas were summoned for questioning.

(Milcah Anila, Intern Journalist)Vijayawada: The CBI has intensified its probe into the murder of former minister and AP chief YS Jagan Babai Vivekanandareddy. Several suspects in the case are being called in for questioning and are in the process of gathering key evidence. Authorities also questioned Munna, the owner of a sandal shop in Pulivendula, on Thursday.

 They are looking into how the Rs 48 lakh cash and 25 pounds of gold jewelry in the bank locker were earned earlier.

Along with Munna, six other Pulivendulas were also questioned. Among them was a Hijra named Chanti. It seems to have asked crucial details from both of them. Information that Munna was close to those who attended the trial.

CBI officials at the R&B guest house in Pulivendula seem to have been spying on the financial dealings of Munna and Viveka’s close associates.

Meanwhile, another CBI team in Pulivendula on Thursday withdrew a petition rejected by a local court.

CBI officials took the bhasha of the tanker, which was present at the trial in Kadapa on Thursday, to the house of former minister YS Vivekanandareddy. Observed the surroundings outside the house for an hour.
