Sources say that elections can be held in Bihar in three phases. Last time elections were held in five stages. Under these guidelines, the Election Commission has said that nominations for Bihar assembly elections will be filed online. Also, many rules will have to be followed during the election to avoid corona. For the Bihar Assembly Election, the Election Commission issued a guideline that this time candidates will be able to deposit security money online. At the same time, this will be the first time that a candidate will submit security money online in the election. Apart from this, candidates will also have to file nominations online.
At the same time, according to the guidelines of the Election Commission, a maximum of five people can be with the candidate for the door to door campaigning. The Election Commission has said that public meetings and roadshows will be allowed according to the instructions of the Home Ministry. The Election Commission has also said to take precautions keeping in mind the Corona crisis during the election.
The guideline states that face masks, sanitizers, thermal scanners, gloves, PPE kits will be used during the election process and social distancing rules will also be followed.
Keeping in mind the danger of coronavirus, all the voters will be provided with hand gloves (gloves) to assign the voter register. Voters will be given gloves before voting in the EVM machine. Apart from this, during the process of voter identification, the face mask will also have to be removed for identification if the voters require it.
