(Riya Singh, Intern Journalist) Patna: Water accumulates up to the knee level in front of the western gate of Patna AIIMS. The rain in the capital on Sunday further worsened the condition of the road. It has become difficult to walk on the road from Phulwarisharif Golumbar to AIIMS. In this road coming in the part of the Aurangabad division of the National Highway, the trouble starts as soon as you move beyond Phulwari Golumbar. The road has been submerged for a distance of about two km from Phulwarisharif Shaheed Chowk.

People who reach AIIMS go through such difficulties. The drivers often fall in sideway drains and pits. The condition of this road, built about two years ago, is this due to disturbances in the construction of the drain. Water gets stored on the road itself. Water from several colonies along the side is also collecting on the National Highway. At the same time, the road in Naya Tola has been dilapidated due to waterlogging. The situation is worse in Chedi Tola.
