(Manisha Mahar, Intern Journalist); The age of 82 years is such an age in which the person starts facing problems even in doing small tasks, far from doing any work that is physically hard work. But, a woman from Sikkim has done such an act at the age of 82, about which you will be shocked.
We are talking about Sukmit Lepcha, who has become the oldest paraglider in Sikkim. The state’s Paragliding Association gave this information on Saturday. Lepcha is the grandmother of three children. She had done this record on October 28 from Paragliding Point near Angi Monastery.
Sukmit Lepcha took it and said, ‘It was a great experience for me. I enjoyed it and I was not scared. I wanted to feel what it feels like to fly. ‘ she further said, My 17-year-old granddaughter had visited me before but she was a little scared. However, I was not afraid of it at all.”
During this time, Sukmit flew at an altitude of 4500 feet for about six minutes. Lepcha said this was not the first adventure sport She has participated in nor is it the last. In 2016, she also did scuba diving off the coast of Andaman. Her next plan is on cycling.
