(Namita Pradhan, Intern Journalist) Odisha; A woman Sub Inspector officer from Daringbadi, Odisha was sexually exploited by a male colleague on the pretext of marriage.
She said she met his colleague Silu Dhal who was posted at the police station of Khalikote, during their training at the Biju Pattnaik state police Academy in 2017.
She has filed the complaint against the accused during the posting at the police station of Sarangada Police Station last year.
The accused has threatened her of leaking out the videos and photos of their intimate, shot in the city of Cuttack, Jharsuguda and Sambalpur went viral.
As the victim didn’t budge, they got married at a temple and he left for Khalikote.
When the victim visits his husband he refused her as a wife in regard to caste difference and tortured her. Then the victim filed a complaint against the accused in the Daringbadi police station but getting no response she passed on the case to the DGP on Monday.
