(Milcah Anila, Intern Journalist) NEW YORK: Tech giant CEO Satya Nadella has made some interesting comments on the practice, although Microsoft has benefited greatly from work-from-home, which has become inevitable with the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic. He commented that despite the benefits of work-from-home, it is fraught with complications. He said that employees get tired of online meetings and face difficulties in switching from a work environment to private life.

Satya Nadella, Chief of Microsoft

Speaking at a meeting of the CEO Council of the Wall Street Journal, he commented that in some cases you may be asleep while working from home. Although video conferences are enthusiastic, he said that ‘it is crucial to concentrate on the video for thirty minutes before your first video conference in the morning and then get tired’.

He said that working from a distance would deprive him of the benefits of being in the office. He said video conferences have become a formality and things have to be fixed before and after meetings. He says the epidemic has taught him how to coordinate between work and personal activity.

He said he was more focused on his schedule. He said that you should invite new entrants to the organization to work from a distance, adding that training, skill acquisition, and skills upgrading are key elements. However, as the work-from-home method is universally mandatory, there is a huge demand for Microsoft products that provide cloud services.

Social media focus on internet security Satya Nadella called on social media websites like Facebook and Twitter to focus on internet security. He spoke in support of the US Alliance but said that maintaining some independence was important for social media. He added that Microsoft has experience in resolving content issues through its Xbox gaming platform.
