(Deepshikha Gautam, Intern Journalist) Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation duly worshiped Vishwakarma at the metro depot located in Transport Nagar. On this occasion, Mr. Sunil Kumar director operations, Mr. Swadesh Kumar Singh General Manager operations, Mr. Avinash Goyal Deputy General Manager rolling stock, and other senior officers and employees were present. Since 2017, Lucknow Metro has been working on passenger services but it was not easy to provide world-class Metro services to the people of Lucknow.
This is the result of the skilled leadership of Mr. Kumar Keshav, Managing Director UPMRC, and the hard work of the engineers of Lucknow metro, due to which the construction work of the primary and entire North-South Corridor of the metro in the City was completed ahead of time.
On the occasion of Vishwakarma Puja, all the officers and employees prayed to Lord Vishwakarma and wished for the timely completion of various schemes running in the state and bring a transport revolution in the state. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Kumar Keshav Managing Director Uttar Pradesh Metro said that we have constructed the Lucknow metro project in record time so that people of Lucknow can get Lucknow metro services in time. I am happy to inform you that we will develop the same word class infrastructure for the Kanpur and Agra metro projects. Uttar Pradesh metro rail is committed to providing the best rapid transit system to the public with all modern facilities and state-of-the-art and Technology. We are rapidly changing the contemporary mode of mass traffic for the Urban population.
