Under this commission, the state government will register migrant workers and help them provide employment.
Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh government has set up a migration commission (Overseas Commission) for the employment of migrant workers. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath spoke to media persons in the ‘webinar’, during which he said that now any state that wants to call laborers from our state will have to take permission.
CM Yogi said that we have created a migrant commission for laborers, though it will also help in providing employment to laborers.
The Chief Minister tweeted, “Arrangements are being made to provide benefits of insurance at the state level to the migrant workers. Also, such an action plan is being prepared, so that job security of these people can be ensured in the state itself and they do not have to be forced to flee away from their homes and families in search of jobs.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that every migrant worker coming to Uttar Pradesh should get employment, their social participation should be ensured.
A Migration Commission is being formed for this. In this transition period of the Corona pandemic, it is the first priority of the state government to secure every migrant.
CM Yogi congratulated the people of the state on Eid

He said that CM Yogi directed that the availability of ventilators, PPE kits, masks should be ensured at the district level. The availability of anesthesiologists should also be reviewed in every district. He said that following the instructions of CM Yogi, the Health Department has increased the number of beds in L-1, L-2, and L-3 hospitals. Now, these hospitals have been equipped with more than 78 thousand beds. Efforts are being made to increase it to one lakh in the coming days.
23 lakh workers and workers have returned so far
Avnish Kumar Awasthi said that so far 23 lakh workers and workers have returned. In view of this, CM Yogi has instructed to increase the testing capacity of the health department and asked it to do 10 thousand sample tests every day. However, more than 7 thousand tests are being conducted daily by the department.
Ration received before sending workers to home quarantine

After taking the data of their skilling, they should be screened. It was also instructed that before the person finishes his quarantine period of 14 days, the person should be given 1 thousand rupees as maintenance allowance.
