The company is considering opening a new technology center in Bengaluru. For this, in the next few years, the company will recruit a large number of senior positions.
A huge increase in the number of users from January to April
According to the company’s COO Arpana Bava, Zoom will make changes to its app. Many values will be added to the app. The company has taken this decision due to its recent popularity. As the users grow, the company will add many features to its video conferencing app. According to the company, in the first four months of the year 2020 i.e. between January to April 2020, there has been an increase of 6,700 percent in the free users sign up of zoom in India.
There are already two data centers in Mumbai and Hyderabad
Zoom Video Communications said it would expand its presence in India by opening a new technology center in Bengaluru, where it would hire Talents over the next few years. Zoom already has an office in Mumbai. There are a total of two data centers in Mumbai and Hyderabad. It will be expanded threefold. The company has its head office in San Jose, California.
Engineering and IT professionals will be recruited
Zoom has said in its statement that the company is going to expand in India. In such a situation, Indian talent will get a chance. The company will hire engineering and IT talent for Bengaluru. Zoom DevOps will begin recruiting engineers, IT, security, and business operations headcount.
The company said that now our employees will work from home
The company also said that until the situation in Kovid-19 improves, its employees will work from home. Zoom CEO Eric S. Yuan said that we are proud to offer our services to more than 2,300 educational institutions during the Kovid-19 epidemic in India.
