(Juhi Aishwary, Journalist): A massive road accident took place in Guna in LockdownMadhya Pradesh today. Here, 8 migrant laborers have died in a truck and bus collision. 8 migrant laborers were killed and about 54 people injured when the truck overturned in a bus and truck collision at around 3 a.m. on Thursday. All the workers killed in the incident were on their way home from Maharashtra to Uttar Pradesh. The injured people are undergoing treatment at the district hospital. The incident is in the Cantt PS area of ​​Guna. The incident is currently under investigation. 8 laborers have died. 54 other people have been injured, who are undergoing treatment at the district hospital.  The postmortem of the workers killed in the accident is being done and further investigation is also going on.

CM Yogi paid compensation

UP CM Yogi Adityanath has announced an ex gratia amount of Rs 2 lakhs to the next of kin of UP laborers killed in Guna road accident. 50-50 thousand rupees have been announced for the seriously injured. Authorities have asked the dead bodies to be brought to their relatives and families in UP.

Accident on Muzaffar Nagar highway, 6 migrant laborers killed

In a tragic incident, six migrant workers walking on the Muzaffarnagar-Saharanpur highway died late on Wednesday after being hit by a high-speed bus. Two people died on the spot in this accident while four died after some time. Five people were injured in this incident. The police admitted the injured to the hospital and rushed other workers ahead of the truck.

It is being told that they used to work in Haryana, but due to the lockdown, they stopped going to Bihar on foot via Saharanpur. According to the police, a roadway bus from Saharanpur from Ghalouli check post and Rohana toll plaza back towards Saharanpur crushed many workers. Inspector Anil Kaparwan said that two workers died on the spot. Four died after some time. Five were seriously injured.
