(Rishitha Jaladi, Intern Journalist)USA: As the COVID cases are striking up every day, Dr. Anthony Fauci, the top US infectious diseases expert, urged the US government to make masks mandatory in public places. But American President Donald Trump said He won’t force Americans to use the mask as all of them have certain Freedom.
Continuing to speak on the topic, Trump added saying, using a mask or not completely depends on his/her will. Also, I don’t agree with the statement by wearing a mask everything vanishes. Trump, who has been seen wearing a mask only once, said: “Masks are good and I believe in wearing masks, but masks cause certain problems too.” However, Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, says Social distancing is very important to contain the spread of the virus.
