LUCKNOW: The case of attempted rape at the Trauma Center by a nurse from the capital city-based King George Medical University (KGMU) was not even cold enough that another woman was molested by the same guard near Gandhi ward. On protest, he started threatening to kill the woman. Then the woman called her husband, the guard ran away before the husband arrived.
Inspector Chowk Vishwajit Singh said that an FIR has been registered against the accused guard Zahid in other sections including molestation. Search for him is going on. The health of a three-year-old child of a woman resident of Hazratganj has been deteriorating for the past several days. On Saturday, the woman came to KGMU to show the child with her husband. The woman’s husband had gone to the Trauma Center for a necessary investigation with the child. The woman stood near Gandhi Ward. Just then the guard Zahid reached there and started molesting the woman alone. The woman started threatening to make noise.
On the previous day, the KGMU nurse complained of obscenity and attempted rape on the male ward in-charge. Therefore, the registrant suspended the employee, also handed over the investigation to the Visakha Committee.
