Taking a dig at the Congress and other opposition parties, the minister said the triple talaq was neither constitutionally correct nor justified under Islam. Yet the illegal, unconstitutional, un-Islamic practice of persecution of Muslim women in our country flourished in ‘Teen Talaq’, ‘Political Protection’ of ‘Vote Bank Dealers’.
In the article, Naqvi said,” Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government is dedicated to empowerment and social reform of every section. Do some people wonder why the Modi government is only worried about the divorce of Muslim women? So for their information, I want to tell you that in the last six years, the efforts of inclusive development of the Modi government have benefited all sections of the society as well as Muslim women.”
