(Priyanka Gupta, Intern Journalist): In Jaunpur’s Panwara market on Friday, the miscreants entered the bullion shop and robbed lakhs of jewelry in broad daylight. Six rogue wearing helmets came on three bikes. While aerial firing in filmy style, the crooks entered the shop and looted the shopkeeper and customer present at the gunpoint. After committing the crime, the crooks escaped. The incident took place at half-past 11 in the morning. The sensation of the robbery has spread. Machilishahar CO has reached the spot and started investigating. The Rural ASP also left for the spot. On 31 October, similarly, crooks looted crores of jewelry from the Mahalaxmi Jewellers of the city.


Yogesh Seth’s son Amarnath Seth owned a bullion shop in Panwara town. He was transacting with customers after opening the shop at 10 am on Friday morning. At around 11:30, six miscreants arrived in front of the shop on three bikes from Machilishahar. All were wearing helmets. While firing aerial, four crooks entered the shop and took the shopkeeper sitting at gunpoint and robbed the goods in the shop. Rural ASP Tribhuvan Singh said that after the information of the robbery, the surrounding places have been alerted and blockade has been done.
