Surprisingly, Dinesh Kumar didn’t wear a PPE kit during the funeral. This is an initiative taken by the joint collector to practically prove that the virus could not be contracted after 6-7 hrs after the dearth of the COVID patient.
A 57-year-old person of the Challapalli village of Krishna district was tested COVID positive and was admitted to the Guntur government hospital. recently the old man passed away. his family members refused to take him from the hospital to perform his final rites fearing corona.
Hence, Dinesh Kumar along with the volunteers of Amma Charitable trust conducted the funeral as per the religious traditions of the victim. The Amma Trust chief Samy Gnana Prasanna Giri himself went close to the body and lit the pyre. “Please give respect to the people who are no more, have some humanity, and please conduct final rites to your family members who died due to corona.
