(Anjali Shreya, Intern Journalist): The number of corona patients in the country has reached beyond 19 lakhs. In the last 24 hours, more than 52 thousand new cases have been reported and 857 people have died. According to the Health Ministry, the total number of corona cases in the country is more than 19 lakh 8 thousand, in which 39 thousand 795 people have died.
So far, over 12 lakh 82 thousand patients have been cured of Corona, while there are more than 5 lakh 86 thousand active cases. The special thing is that the number of active cases of corona in the country’s capital Delhi has reduced by 10 thousand. The number of active cases in Delhi is 9897.
The total corona patients in Delhi has reached close to 1 lakh 40 thousand. In this, 4 thousand 33 people have died. So far, more than 1 lakh 25 thousand people have been cured, while 9897 are active cases. In the last 24 hours, 972 people have returned home after winning the battle against Corona.
India has the lowest ‘case fatality rate’ (CFR) of 2.09 percent compared to the global average. The Health Ministry said that a total of 44,306 people were discharged from the hospital in the last 24 hours, with a recovery (recovery) rate of 66.3 percent. In the last 24 hours, 6,61,892 samples have been tested.
