(Bhagya Luxmi, Intern Journalist) On this historic moment of laying Foundation stone on the Ram Janm Bhoomi in Ayodhya, people not only in India but also the Indian-Americans celebrated the special day by lighting a lamp. A tableau at Capitol Hill was also taken out. The Indian Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on Wednesday worshiped the land for the construction of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya and laid the foundation stone of the temple. People not only celebrated the welcoming of Lord Ram but also the conquest over a long-running issue.
The Hindu community in America to enhance the importance of this day organized an online program to worship Lord Ram.
In a press release by the Hindu community in America stated, ” people worshipped at home, lighting a lamp. For many people this day is like Diwali, Indians are filled with enthusiasm”.
