(Anjali Shreya, Intern Journalist): Bihar Director General of Police (DGP) Gupteshwar Pandey has made a big statement on Wednesday about Patna Superintendent of Police Vinay Tiwari who went to investigate the death of the actor Sushant Singh Rajput Case. He said that Vinay Tiwari is being kept as if he has been arrested. Police officer Vinay Tiwari, who reached Mumbai in connection with the investigation of the case, has been placed in the quarantine by BMC.
Bihar DGP said, “We are asking BMC to release IPS officer Vinay Tiwari from the quarantine. We told him that he is an IPS officer, at least he should be sent back. This is not professional behavior. The officer is being kept as if he has been arrested.”
Earlier, the Director-General of Police had said that a team is investigating Maharashtra government’s quarantine guidelines and said that Vinay Tiwari does not have to quarantine.
