(Namita Pradhan, Intern Journalist) After the order received from the central government on 5th August, the CBI has taken over the Sushant Singh Rajput death case. On Thursday, CBI has re-registered an FIR of alleged criminal conspiracy and abatement to suicide against Rhea Chakraborty, including her family member and 3 other based on the registered FIR by Bihar Police after the complaint from the late actor father K.K Singh complaint.
Today the actress Rhea Chakraborty has to appear for the interrogation before ED.
The actress lawyer Satish Maneshinde requested a postponement of recording her statement till the hearings from the Supreme Court but it was rejected by ED, they asked Rhea to appear for the probe and if she fails the second summons notice will be sent.
The case was being investigated through CBI’s Special Investigation Team (SIT).
The ED has interrogated for 9 hours with Samuel Miranda the accused. ED has also summoned Siddharth Pithani and Shruti Modi for questioning
