Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the ‘Transparent Taxation Honor of Honesty’ program. The PM said that this will improve our tax system and will further strengthen efforts to simplify it. This will be the direction to reward a taxpayer’s honesty.
PM Modi tweeted-“Transparent Taxation Honor of Honesty” program will be launched on Thursday 13 August at 11:00 am. This will further strengthen efforts to improve and simplify our tax system. This will be beneficial for many honest taxpayers whose hard work empowers the country to move forward. Finance minister Nirmala Sitaraman has also described the scheme through twitter as an important step towards providing a simple and transparent taxation system for India. The event is being organized through video conferencing which includes various industry boards, trade organizations, chartered accountant associations, and well-known taxpayers.
