Aatmja Kumari(Intern Journalist): The Supreme Court has given its verdict on the investigation of Sushant Singh Rajput case. The Supreme Court has given the CBI the authority to investigate the case. Sushant’s family and his fans have been demanding a CBI inquiry for a long time. The Supreme Court has upheld the FIR registered in Bihar. Also, the Mumbai Police has been ordered to cooperate in the investigation.
The court said that the Mumbai Police had not interrogated the matter but only inquired. The Supreme Court asked the Mumbai Police to give all the documents to the CBI. The Maharashtra government and the Mumbai police have suffered a major setback with the Supreme Court’s decision. Maharashtra government can challenge this decision of the Supreme Court.
After the decision of the Supreme Court, the CBI team will now go to Mumbai. Now the case will be investigated in Mumbai. CBI will seek case diary, statements of all witnesses and suspects, forensic and autopsy reports from Mumbai Police. CBI will visit the crime scene. The agency can also recycle the crime scene. The CBI will record the statements of those people who were present there at the time of Sushant’s death. The CBI will send summons to Riya, her brother Shovik, father Indrajit and the rest. Only then will the CBI decide on the arrest of someone.
