Users have also made complaints on social media about this, although now Google Pay is back on the Google Play Store. The date of the update of Google Pay on the Play Store is also seen on 17 August. However, Google has not given any statement on this.
Due to the downswing of SBI and UPI, apps like Google Pay and PhonePe were closed for a long time, although currently there is no problem. There is also news that Google is going to open a digital bank by next year.
For this, Google will partner with the existing bank. Google’s digital bank will first start in the US. For this, talks are going on with American banks like BBVA and BMO. It is being said in the report that the bank will manage the user’s account, while the payment will be through the Google Pay app.
