(Deepshikha Gautam, Intern Journalist) Kanpur: Special arrangements have been made for the education and monitoring of children of UP board on Doordarshan Lucknow and Swayam Prabha channel. Every teacher has to tell their principal how many students studied through channels. A total of 692 secondary schools in Kanpur were divided into 22 sectors, where the principals would have to report. Reports from sectors will be sent to the nodal officers, who will report to the government and council.
Students who do not have a phone or TV will be educated through correspondence. Joint Director of Education Prem Prakash Maurya told in a press conference that from the government level, there is strictness to study on DD and Swayam Prabha channel. Classes 9 and 11 are being taught at Swayam Prabha and 10 and 12 at DD Lucknow. Chapter-wise videos have been prepared from all cities, which are being broadcast to the time table. JD said that there were complaints of Swayam Prabha channel of not appearing. In view of this, its Youtube channel has been launched. Teachers and students can study through it.
