(Namita Pradhan, Intern Journalist) Journalist Ratan Singh who worked on a Hindi channel was shot dead on 24th August 2020 in Phephana. Police have arrested four people in this case Dinesh Singh, Arvind Singh, Suneel Singh, and Moti Singh who were arrested for this case.
The police have said that the journalist was involved in a property dispute with his neighbor. They had a fight on this matter on Monday evening and the neighbor shot him. Ratan Sigh who is an accused was the partner of the victim Ratan Singh, said by the Director-General of Police Prashant Kumar.
The case was also filed against Ratan Singh but later it was cleared.
Regarding the incident, the DIG said the National Security Act and Gangster Act will also be held against the four accused.
