In such a situation, Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) has also been made to protect the training centers from corona. This will be followed in all training institutes.
PTC is necessary to become an ASI from a soldier PTC course is required for promotion from constable to ASI. Jawans cannot become police officers without passing it. PTC training is done at various centers. At present, the police line will begin its training in Katihar, Lakhisarai, Jamui, Arwal, besides CTN Nathanagar and MPTC Dumraon. 1778 soldiers were taking training at these centers but due to corona it could not be completed. The remaining training of PCT will start from September 15 and the soldiers will have to contribute there two days before that.
Corona infection is not yet over. The Police Headquarters has prepared a standard operating procedure to ensure that the policemen do not fall under Corona’s JD during training. Under this, the trainee temperature will be measured daily. Emphasis has also been placed on social distancing. The barracks will have fewer beds than before. On the other hand, if someone shows signs of illness or feels unwell, separate isolation will be arranged to keep it. A checkup of his health will be done immediately.
To keep more policemen together, training will be given in small groups. This will be taken care of during both outdoor and indoor training. At the same time, it will be the responsibility of the senior officials to inspect the barracks as a rule. Training was stopped in March In March, all kinds of training were banned by the Police Headquarters after the transition to Corona. This led to DSP, Daroga and PTC being stopped. Last month, 24 Probationer DSPs were contributed to the Police Academy. Now PTC training is also being resumed.
