The plant had to be closed due to leakage in the main water pipeline Near Ganesh Udyan of Phool Bagh. Due to this, people living areas ranging from north to south could not get drinking water, there was a storm in all the surrounding areas including Vishnu Puri, Azad Nagar, and Nawabganj.
The reason for this was that Water used to be transported from the Barrage itself for the water tank of jalkal here. In this which both options were disconnected. Councilor Pappu Pandey has a complaint about this on the Chief Minister’s portal, even after talking to the engineers of Jal Nigam and Jal Kal, the problem was not resolved.
