(Deepshikha Gautam, Intern Journalist) Kanpur : The leakage was repaired in the water pipeline in Ganesh Udyan of Phool Bagh, now the Jal Nigam dug a pit to repair the leakage in Rawatpur. Due to this, crisis of drinking water running in the city for 4 days is still intact. Superintendent engineer of water corporation Ram Sharan has definitely claimed that the testing will be started on Monday to restore water supply from the Ganga Barrage. There was leakage in the main pipeline of water in Rawatpur, so it was thought that it should be repaired simultaneously. In order to correct the leakage of GRP pipe line, water is to wait for it to dry. Here on Sunday, water supply was stopped till Vishnu Puri, Azad Nagar, Nawabganj, Purana Kanpur and Phool and birhana Road to Patkapoor in the north. On the other hand, people from Juhi to Usmanpur did not get water from Jal Nigam. Nearly 1 million people have been facing this cris for 4 days.
