(Manisha Mahar, Intern Journalist); Special Cell of Delhi Police arrested Rajeev Sharma, a freelance journalist from his Pitampura home under the Official Secret Act. The police claim that some very secret documents related to defense have been recovered from Rajiv.
According to the police, Rajiv Sharma was arrested on 14 September. Then on 15 September, he went to the court from where he was sent on 6 days police remand. His bail is heard on September 22 in Patiala House Court.
Rajiv Sharma has worked in institutions like the United News of India, The Tribune, Free Press Journal, Sakal. Police are not saying much in this matter right now.
