(Harleen Kaur, Intern Journalist)Deoria, Multi Gym Hall is going to be constructed in Ravindra Kishore Shahi Sports Stadium. DM has sanctioned fifteen lakh rupees for this. Ten Lakh Rupees have released, very soon the work will start. There will be competitions like badminton, taekwondo, etc. The gym will also run in it. There was only one hall for the players to practice as well as badminton and taekwondo competitions were also held in that hall only.
Sports events are held in the hall during the rainy season. Apart from this city officials and doctors come to play badminton every morning and evening. In such a situation one had to practice here in turn.DM Amit Kishore has provided Rs15 Lakh in the view of the player’s problem. In which 10 Lakh Rs have been given to the State Construction Corporation.5 lakh Rs will be received after the completion of the work.
The stadium has all the gym equipment. All the equipment will be installed in the new hall. Through which players will be able to practice every day. There was an urgent need for a multi gym. This matter was brought to the notice of the DM. They have provided funds and very soon the construction of the gym will be completed.
