Normal liquor is being recovered in the name of action. There were also complaints of illegal liquor being sold from some licensee shops.
Such vendors were also investigated but the department gave them a clean chit. 23 days ago, police raided a house in Diadhar village of Salempur Kotwali area on the information that fake liquor was prepared from a large spirit. A large number of spirits, fake liquor prepared from it were also recovered from here. It was also reported that the liquor prepared here is supplied to the local liquor shops of the district besides the neighboring province of Bihar.
However, the investigation could not confirm the supply at the local liquor shops. A team of Excise and Police conducted a raid on 12 September in Jogia of Gauribazar police station area and recovered 20 cases of fake country liquor. Spirit, urea, and other material were also recovered from here. The department received information about sending the prepared liquor from here to Bihar. This is just a hallmark.
