(Harleen Kaur, Intern Journalist)A consignment of Charas is coming from Nepal in India. Nepal’s Krishnanagar police station arrested three people, including two women, with 37 kg Nepali charas. Both women tied a packet of charas to their bodies. They are the resident of Nepal’s district Makwanpur and Rolpa situated in the remote hills from where one can easily reach Kathmandu but coming to Krishnanagar is said to be a very difficult task.
During interrogation, he told that he had to deliver the charas was to Mumbai for which the reservation was also made in the AC coach of the train from Lucknow. The network of smugglers is so strong that they would also get a SIM of the Indian Mobile Company at Barhni railway station. The question also arises as to who are the people who help them in growing. At present, the police and intelligence department are searching for their network. On September 23, Nepal police recovered a consignment of charas.
