(Milcah Anila, Intern Journalist) New Delhi: As part of the unlock process, the Center is liberating every sector that has been shut down by Corona. But theaters are reluctant to open. The government does not care if they open the theaters and demand that their survivors be freed from darkness.

On the other hand, many survivors who believed this alone fell on the road. The films are being released on OTT at the rate at which they are finished shooting. Some are worried that if the same pattern continues tomorrow morning, their situation will improve.

For another eight years, they would be reluctant to sit idly by and wait for government approval.

In this context, the Multiplex Association of India has asked the government to allow the opening of theaters. To this end, a petition was submitted on Tuesday entitled ‘Unlock Cinemas – Save Jobs’.

The Center has not yet commented on the matter, but on social media, the news is circulating that theaters across the country will be reopening from October 1.

The PIB (Press Information Bureau), a public sector undertaking, has clarified that the news is untrue, although there are rumors that the government has also prepared regulations to this effect.

The government has stated that it has not yet made such a statement.

Fact: The Center has not allowed theaters to open since October 1. (At the time of writing, the government has not made any announcement)
