In the last 24 hours in the country, 82,260 people have recovered from corona infection. At the same time, the number of active cases in India remained below 10 lakh for the 13th consecutive day.
The Union Health and Family Welfare Ministry said on Sunday, ‘India has maintained its steady trend of less than 10 lakh active cases for the 13th consecutive day. Today the number of active cases is 9,37,625. This is 7,371 fewer cases than yesterday.
The ministry further said, ‘There is also a steady trend of patients recovering in India. In the last 24 hours, 82,260 patients have recovered from virus infection. In contrast, 75,829 new cases have been reported. In recent times, the recovery numbers have surpassed new cases.
Meanwhile, 75,829 new cases of Covid-19 have been reported within the last 24 hours. At the same time, 940 people have died due to the virus. At the same time, the total number of corona cases in the country has reached above 65 lakhs. There are currently 65,49,374 cases in the country. The number of active cases in this is 9,37,625 while 55,09,967 patients have been cured or discharged from the hospital or they have left the country. Apart from this, a total of 1,01,782 patients have died due to the virus.
