(Deepshikha Gautam, Intern Journalist) Kanpur: The alleged BJP leader has been absconding for 55 days. Till now Kanpur police have not been able to find him. Since this incident, there is also resentment among the people because of the arrest of the accused till now. Sanjay Shukla, an alleged BJP leader living in Dalpatpur village located in Narwal police station area, on August 7, in a minor dispute, opened fire on a 19-year-old girl with a licensed revolver.
The girl was hospitalized in critical condition. The girl is healthy now. However, the family is worried that the accused leader should not attack the girl again.
At the same time, the police have not been able to investigate him yet.

On August 7, 2020, outside the shop, Shivdas Uttam had a fight with alleged BJP leader Sanjay Shukla, who lives in the village. Sanjay Shukla had threatened to see Shivdas Uttam. Late on 09 August 2020, the alleged BJP leader attacked Shivdas along with two of his comrades (Kamalkant and Pramod Shukla) in a drunken state. During this, he broke into Shivdas’s grocery shop. When Shivdas and his sons opposed this, Sanjay Shukla along with his colleagues beaten the whole family. The alleged BJP leader Sanjay Shukla was beating up Shivdas and his two sons in a state of drunkenness along with his accomplices. Sarita (19) reached to save her father and brothers, Sanjay Shukla also beat up Sarita fiercely. Not only this, he fired on her with his licensed revolver. Sarita fell there in a bloody condition. The victim’s family called the police and pleaded for help. At the same time, the family had admitted the victim to the district hospital Ursla. When the police arrived at the scene, the team had to face the anger of the villagers.
Sanjay Shukla, a resident of Dalpatpur village, used to use license revolver in the waist to threaten people. He considers himself an active member of the BJP, and lashes out at the people. It is also alleged that by calling himself a BJP leader, he has also interfered in many government schemes. Anil Shukla Warisi, who was Bahujan Samaj Party MP from Akbarpur Lok Sabha seat, used to call BJP leader Sanjay Shukla his relative. Anil Shukla Warisi is currently in BJP and his wife is a BJP MLA from the Raniya Assembly. Narwal Inspector Balram Mishra said that an FIR has been lodged against Sanjay Shukla, Kamalkant and Pramod Shukla, living in Dalpatpur village. The three accused have been absconding for a long time. Action will be taken against them first 82 and 83. Inspector Balram Mishra said that efforts are being made to arrest Sanjay Shukla.
The police are continuously raiding his whereabouts. A letter has been written to the DM to cancel the license of revolver of Sanjay Shukla. This process is going on.
