(Deepshikha Gautam, Intern Journalist) Saharanpur: A fire broke out on Friday morning in a firecracker factory located in village Satpura in Thana Bihargarh area of Saharanpur. At that time many laborers were working there. Firecrackers burst as soon as the fire started and there was a stampede. But many laborers got badly engulfed in the fire due to the bursting of firecrackers. On receiving the information, along with the police station, the SDM and CO also reached the spot. In the meantime, 2 vehicles of fire brigade reached the spot and started fighting over the fire. There was a burst of crackers in the factory for a long time. Among the injured, the condition of a woman laborer named Poonam was said to be worrisome. All the injured laborers were rushed to the district hospital. This factory belongs to Amit Kumar, a resident of Dehradun, administration says that it has a license for construction and storage.
