(Anjali Shreya, Intern Journalist): The whole country is engaged in the fight for the elimination of Coronavirus. Common or special, all the people are taking responsibility in this war in their own way. A different picture is seen in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s parliamentary constituency Varanasi. Varanasi-based Saurabh Maurya became the first Indian to donate the most platelets in India. Saurabh in the Corona pandemic has donated platelets for the needy. Donations have also done something which has become history.
His passion for donating blood and platelets can be seen from this so far that in his youth, Saurabh has donated 42 times platelets and 52 times blood. This passion continued even during his corona period. Due to which they were named blood commandos, then their name was also recorded in the Indian Book of Records. Saurabh says that many people serve him in their own way in social service.
