(Satya Havilah, Intern Journalist) New Delhi: The Coronavirus pandemic outbreak in India continues. Thousands of cases daily… Hundreds of deaths continue to be recorded. Less than 50,000 cases have been reported in the last few days. Less than 600 deaths have been reported. The number of corona tests in the country so far has crossed 11 crores.
However, compared to the number of cases and deaths registered in the last few days, the number of both has come down drastically. What is even more reassuring is that the recovery rate is always significantly higher than in cases. At present, the corona recovery rate in the country is 91.68 percent, while the death rate is 1.49 percent. The rate of active cases is 6.83 percent.
In the last 24 hours, 45,230 corona cases were reported across the country on Sunday (November 1). Besides, 496 people lost their lives yesterday due to the epidemic. According to the latest statistics, the total number of corona cases in the country has increased to 82,29,313, and the number of deaths to 1,22,607. The Union Health Ministry released the Health Bulletin on Monday morning.
