Voting has begun for the by-elections in 28 assembly seats in 19 districts of the city. A total of 355 candidates are in the fray with 12 ministers of the state government. During the voting, 3 lakh 67 thousand 751 voters will vote. The voting time has been extended by one hour due to the Corona Pandemic. Actually, Corona-infected voters will vote in the last hour.
Let me tell you that for the first time by-elections are being held on so many seats in the state. This election will decide which government will be formed in the state. The results of this election will come on 10 November. The BJP currently has 107 MLAs in the 230-member House, while the Congress has 87 MLAs in the House.
BJP candidate for Gwalior Dabra by-election, Imrati Devi cast her vote at booth number 219. During this, she was seen in a red sari. Let me tell you that senior leader of Congress and former Chief Minister Kamal Nath made a comment against the Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Imrati Devi.
