There has been panic in the area since the incident. According to the information, the incident was carried out in Shivaji Nagar in Jalgaon. The former mayor’s son Rakesh Sapkale was returning to his home on Wednesday night at the time of the incident. At the same time, some people caught him on the way. After this, the attackers beat him fiercely with kick and punches. After that, they picked him up in the truck and slit his throat there, and killed him.
According to police sources, the younger brother of Rakesh Sapkale had a fight with some people in the area a few days ago. After this Rakesh Sapkale went with some of his colleagues and threatened them. Late on Wednesday, he was wandering alone in Shivaji Nagar. At the same time, he was surrounded by another group and hit with a kick. After this, they took him to the truck and took him there, after stabbing him in the chest, legs, and stomach, he cut his throat. According to the police, Rakesh Sapkale’s father Ashok Sapkale has been the former Mayor of Jalgaon. Before coming to politics, he had many criminal cases registered. Like his father, Rakesh Sapkale too was domineering and he had formed his own group of youths. After Rakesh’s murder, the police took action and detained 2 people. Also, in view of the possibility of a gang war, a police force has been deployed in the area.
