(Pooja Dubey, Intern Journalist) Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain on Wednesday once again clarified that there will be no lockdown in Delhi at all. However, he hinted at closing the markets.
Jain said this on the question of journalists re-locking in Delhi. He said that there is no need for lockdown here.
There will definitely be some strictness at the local level. He said that more and more tests are being held in Delhi at the moment and we will increase it further.
When he was talked about Chhath Puja, he said that due to the huge crowd gathering during Chhath Puja, the coronavirus can spread in large quantities, hence worship has been banned at the ghats.
