If you come to a bluff and eat anything given to someone, then you can be a victim of crime. RK Kannaujia, former Delhi-in-charge of RPF’s intelligence wing, said this during a press conference after nabbing two rogues of the Zahrakhuran gang on Friday for the awareness of railway passengers. On October 31, the Pooja Special train going from Delhi to Muzaffarpur was looted by feeding Okhla resident Saeed Ahmed and Faizabad resident Nivjesh Yadav intoxicated biscuits. The accused had carried out the incident from Delhi to Hapur. Two mobiles and thousands of cash were taken from the accused.
RPF’s Intelligence Branch and GRP Ghaziabad team got involved in the investigation of the case, on Friday, they came to know about the misdeeds of the Zahrakhuran gang coming to Ghaziabad railway station. After this, the joint team nabbed the two accused Nadeem alias Akhtar and Sabir. Both are originally from Madhubani in Bihar. Both currently lived in a slum camp in the East Delhi area of Delhi.
Officers said that the accused mostly targeted the trains going to Bihar and carried out the incident. He has an accomplice absconding. The search for him continues to haunt potential targets. Mobile phone robbed from the possession of the accused in the custody, two thousand rupees cash and intoxicating pills have been recovered.
The accused used to ride in trains from Delhi. After this, people used to feed biscuits by entrapping the passengers. He used to eat one of the biscuits himself in the same packet for taking the prank. After that, they would offer to eat biscuits to the passengers because before they had eaten the biscuits themselves, the passengers boarding the train used to eat the biscuits on their offer.
After this, after the passengers were unconscious, they used to escape with their belongings.
