Aatmja Kumari(Intern Journalist): Lucknow: The outbreak of dengue is also increasing in the capital of Lucknow. It was confirmed in five people on Saturday. More than 120 dengue patients have been found in the last 10 days. More than 750 people have been affected since January.
Deputy CMO Dr. KP Tripathi said that dengue patients were found in Aliganj, Indiranagar, Alambagh, and Gomtinagar on Saturday. However, doctors also say that the outbreak of mosquitoes will reduce as winter progresses.
The Directorate General of Health receives samples of dengue patients from other hospitals including Civil Hospital and Balrampur. Patients in whom card test samples are positive have an ELISA test. Dengue has been confirmed in about 120 patients in the last 10 days.
Dr. Tripathi said that the health department teams inspected 4239 houses in Balaganj, Rajajipuram, Kanhaiya Madhavpur, and New Haiderganj for the prevention of dengue. During this period, notices were issued to 11 houses and other places.
