(Pooja Dubey, Intern Journalist) West Bengal BJP chief Dilip Ghosh said on Wednesday that the state has become ‘second Kashmir’ as militants are being arrested every day and illegal bomb-making factories are busted daily.
The ruling Congress targeted Ghosh for these comments and asked him to pay attention to the BJP-ruled Uttar Pradesh, where the ‘rule of law has ceased to exist’.
Ghosh said during the ‘Cha-Chakra’ (discussion on tea) program in Birbhum district, ‘West Bengal has become the second Kashmir. Every day terrorists are being arrested and every other day illegal bomb-making factories are busted. There is only one factory operating here – the bomb-making factory.
Taking strong objection to his statement, the Trinamool Congress alleged that Ghosh is trying to tarnish the image of the state.
Trinamool Congress leader Kunal Ghosh said, “With the connivance of outsiders, Dilip Ghosh is trying to tarnish the image of West Bengal.” Before commenting on the state of the state, they should look towards the BJP-ruled Uttar Pradesh, where the rule of law has no existence. ‘
