While the temple was decorated with flowers and balloons, cake was offered along with the Lord’s fifty-six bhog. Maharati of Shyam Prabhu was performed with adornment. The listeners were impressed by listening to the hymn.
Bhajan singer Saurabh Sharma from Kolkata, Arun Pandey from Deoria, Shyam Sharma, Girdhari Sharma presented hymns and made people feel proud. He praised Shyam Baba. Devotees kept on chanting hymns all night. On the Ekadashi bathing festival in Barhaj, devotees took a dip in the Saryu river on Wednesday and donated it to the poor. People also took a bath at Gaura Ghat, Kaparwar Sangam Beach, Pena Saryu Beach.
Devotees started gathering on the river bank from morning to bathe on Ekadashi, the bathing festival of peace and happiness prosperity. The bathing process continued till noon. People fasted and wished for Lokmangal. There was a fair atmosphere at the ghat and in the market. Sweets, toys, and cosmetics shops were crowded with women. Strong police arrangement NJs were made on the river bank. People also took baths in the Sarayu river near Kalicharan Ghat in Bhagalpur. In Chhoti Gandak, people also took bath at other places including Kushahari, Patnava bridge.
