The seized property is valued at 1.6 million euros (14 million INR). In France, he was arrested under anti-money laundering laws.
The ED said in a statement that during the investigation it was learned that a large amount had been sent overseas from Kingfisher Airlines Limited’s bank account for the establishment of the property. The confiscated property is located at 32 Avenue FOCH, France. But King Fisher closed a long time ago. The DE said the action was taken at the request of the French authorities.

He met with UK Home Secretary Preity Patel and South Asian Foreign Minister Lord Tariq Ahmed to extradite the two.
Britain said it would take time-However, the UK has said Mallya will not be extradited to India until confidential legal issues are resolved. The UK and India are currently trying to resolve the issue soon. Britain’s Acting High Commissioner Jan Thompson said urgent legal issues needed to be resolved before the goods could be returned.
