(Deepshikha Gautam, Intern Journalist) Aligarh: The centenary celebrations of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) were addressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that the buildings of all the departments of AMU have been decorated. Not only this building, but they also have a history of education. It is an invaluable heritage of India. All the people who have taken training from here are in hundreds of countries of the world. See you on foreign travel. The help AMU provided at the time of the corona infection is invaluable. Just a few days ago a letter from the Chancellor has been received. He has assured all help in the vaccine. A Mini India is seen in AMU. Here Urdu is taught on one side and Hindi on the other. If Persian, Sanskrit is also there. The Gita is also taught along with the Quran. This is the strength of the country. Will not let it weaken.

Prime Minister Modi said that when the youth move forward keeping aside all differences to achieve national goals, then there is no such destination that we cannot achieve together. Now government schemes are reaching every section without any discrimination. Whatever country belongs to every countryman and every citizen should be benefited from it, our government is working with this spirit. The Prime Minister said that a lot of work has been done recently in the country by taking medical education. Six years ago there were only seven AIIMS in the country. Today there are 22 AIIMS in the country. In the same way, we have worked to increase resources in other fields of education. There were 13 IIMs in the country till 2104, so today there are 20. Till 2014 there were 16 IITs and today there are 23. He said that education should reach everyone whether online or offline. It reached par and changed the lives of all. We are working on this goal.

PM Modi said that the schemes that the country is making today are reaching every section without any distinction of religion. Bank accounts of more than 40 crores poor are opened in the country without any discrimination. More than two crore poor people were given pucca houses without discrimination. More than 8 crore women got gas connections without any discrimination.
50 crore people got free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh under the Ayushman scheme without any discrimination. What belongs to the country belongs to every countryman and every citizen should be benefited, our government is working with this spirit.

The Prime Minister said that in the last hundred years AMU has also worked to strengthen India’s relations with many countries of the world. The research conducted on Urdu, Arabic, and Persian languages, research on Islamic literature, gives new energy to India’s cultural relations with the entire Islamic world. The way AMU helped society even during this Corona crisis is unprecedented. Making thousands of people get free tests, isolation wards, plasma banks, and contributing a large amount to the PM Care Fund shows the seriousness of fulfilling your obligations to society. PM Modi said that Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) alumni represent the culture of India around the world. Similarly, we also have to work together to strengthen the spirit of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat at AMU Campus.

When it comes to the vision of New India.
Some elements are also disturbed by new things. He will talk negatively, but it will be good if we have nation building in our mind.
Politics can wait. But development does not wait. In the last century, a lot of time has been lost in the name of differences. Now is not the time to lose. Now work on self-dependent India.
Independence was gained by the renunciation of the previous generation. Today’s generation has. There is an opportunity to work on a new India. It was the 1920s. This time is 20-20.
These are important years of life. All of you.
Will be a part of making modern India. Your decisions should be made for the country.
Will think about the country. Great men who have increased AMU in a hundred years. I thank them all. I wish AMU the best in the future.

Development activities are being done without discrimination here. No one should be left behind because of religion. Development of all and trust of all is the mantra of the country. Today, the country is making plans for the poor without discrimination. One crore accounts opened, 8 crore women got gas connection. 80 crore people got non-discriminatory benefits in Korana. The country belongs to every person. A few days ago I met an alumnus of AMU.
He told that toilets were made in the Swachh Bharat Mission. Everyone benefited from it.
