(Satya Havilah, Intern Journalist) Los Angeles: Larry King, the talk show legend who created more than half a century of interviews with world leaders, celebrities, and the general public, has died at the age of 87. King died at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on Saturday, his co-founder Ora Media reported on Twitter. On January 2, his son Chance confirmed that Covid-19 had been diagnosed positive and died at the hospital.
He was a longtime radio host from 1985 to 2010. Has been with CNN since 2010. More than 50,000 of his programs have been broadcast on radio and television. He has interviewed many celebrities, including Elizabeth Taylor, Mikhail Gorbachev, Barack Obama, Bill Gates, and Lady Gaga. Born into a Jewish family in 1933, Larry went through many hardships as a child.
